“Quiet Time” Increases Resilience in Urban Youth: New Research


Quiet Time Practice Transcendental Meditation can significantly reduce anxiety and increase resilience among urban youth, according to a new study conducted by WestEd, a highly respected educational research, development, and service agency. The study was published in the July edition of Contemporary School Psychology and was made possible through a $157,000 grant from the San Francisco-based Metta Fund. Read the full story
