About Tish Lara

Tish Lara is Associate Director of Women's Initiatives. Tish develops curriculum, coordinates courses, tracks student progress, and ensures successful survey administration and data collection. Tish has over 10 years of experience working with children and families with medical conditions such as neurodevelopmental disabilities, along with adolescents in the juvenile justice system. She has used creative arts therapy and applied theatre with Israelis and Palestinians abroad. Tish holds a BA in Social Welfare with a Minor in Art History from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California. Tish received her clinical training at the University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA).
